The building sector accounts for almost a third of energy consumption in Switzerland and generates significant environmental impacts.
In order to respond to this issue, the HEIG-VD organizes every two years a Symposium offering an overview through concrete examples of achievements in the field of sustainable construction and energy efficiency.
The 8th edition of the Symposium on Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energies and the Environment in the Building Sector will take place on 29 and 30 March 2017 at the Aula of the HEIG-VD in Yverdon-les-Bains. This event will be structured in four half-days, each dedicated to a specific theme, encouraging the sharing of knowledge between building professionals, design offices, technical companies and the general public.
As part of this symposium, Yverdon-les-Bains Energie, a partner in the event, will present its territorial energy planning project at the conference on Thursday 30 March. Indeed, the topics addressed during the Symposium such as energy efficiency, the environment and renewable energies in the building sector are key themes strongly linked to territorial energy planning.
