Water network

Approximately 126 km of pipelines ensure a safe and continuous supply to all customers of the City of Yverdon-les-Bains network. Total water consumption is approximately 3 million m3/year.

Drinking water supply

The year 2012 saw the completion of a major project for the City of Yverdon-les-Bains: the laying of a new welded steel sub-lake pipe between the port of Grandson and the mouth of the Bey.

Long version (23 min. 40) of this clip is available on request from our Service Department.

This project, carried out by Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies, provides the 30,000 or so people connected to the region's drinking water network with a more reliable supply thanks to modern infrastructure.

Provenance

Drinking the water of Yverdon-les-Bains
