Before any excavation work, even on private land, it is advisable to check with the Technical Office so as not to take any risks. Pipes can sometimes be buried at shallow depths.

Excavations and earthworks
Prior to any excavation work, the position of the infrastructure must be marked out on site by a representative of the Technical Board. This service is free of charge.
Excavations on existing pipes must be done by hand, under the responsibility of the person doing the excavation work.
