Electricity network equipment finance

Application provision for LV customers for 2019

Pursuant to Art. 16 of the General Conditions for Connection, Use of the Grid and Supply of Electrical Energy, the Municipality takes the following decision:

1. The capital cost under Art. 16 is calculated on the basis of the power subscribed for the connected plot of land at a rate of CHF 156 excluding VAT (CHF 168 including VAT) per ampere at low voltage. It is levied from the owner in increments according to the table below, the minimum being not less than 20 A.

For small, uninhabited buildings or low-power connections, the equipment fee is CHF 1,036.00 excluding VAT (CHF 1,118.90 including VAT).

2. In the case of conversion, extension or reconstruction, the tax payable shall be that corresponding to the total power applied for, less the net amounts previously paid.

3. In case of renunciation of the installed capacity (demolition), or a request for a power reduction, no reimbursement of the network equipment finance can be required.

4. Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies is competent to deal with special cases such as second homes (tax increase to compensate for the lack of profitability of the connection), small constructions that are not habitable (sheds, kiosks, telephone booths, etc.), temporary connections (building sites, fairgrounds, various events, etc.), industrial companies with transformer stations, agricultural constructions, housing estates, etc.
