HEIG-VD Symposium OE

Energy Optimization 2018 Symposium

The HEIG-VD and its Institute of Thermal Engineering (IGT) are organising the second edition of the energy optimisation symposium on Wednesday 24 October 2018.

Aimed at all players in industry, services and any other company concerned with energy, this event is an opportunity to exchange and share knowledge on energy optimisation.

The objectives of the 2050 energy strategy are closely linked to energy optimisation. While the measures and regulations of this strategy are more concerned with electricity consumption, for example, a reduction in the CO2 tax can also be achieved by recovering waste heat. This symposium will therefore provide an overview of possible energy optimisations and will enable participants to project themselves into the scenarios resulting from the recent referendum.

Topics covered

The conferences, workshops and presentations of this day will deal with technologies and methods used in energy optimization, thermal recovery and storage and the optimization of electrical installations. A round table will also allow several regional energy players to take stock of the progress and impacts of the 2050 energy strategy. More details on the content of this day are given in the programme.
