On the occasion of the inauguration of the 1000th dynamic LED lamp of the Yverdon public lighting network, Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies is organising a :
"Dynamic Lighting Conference"
Tuesday 25 April 2017 at 7.30 pm in the Salle de la Marive at Quai Nogent 1 in Yverdon-les-Bains
During this event, the person in charge of public lighting in Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies will present the dynamic public lighting project and will demonstrate that today, ambitious savings and light pollution reduction objectives are within the reach of all Communes.
Since 2009, the city of Yverdon-les-Bains has oriented its public lighting policy according to the slogan " in complete safety, light where it is needed, when it is needed ". With this in mind, Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies has devised public lighting scenarios that allow the lighting to be switched on and dimmed to suit each situation. This type of lighting makes it possible to reduce the costs linked to energy consumption while at the same time ensuring the sense of security of the citizens of Yverdon-les-Bains.
In collaboration with a local SME, a sensor for dynamic light reduction was developed and tested, initially in residential areas. Today, Yverdon-les-Bains Énergies is deploying this technology throughout the city to achieve the goal of 100% dynamic lighting by 2024, which means a reduction in electricity consumption of 80%!
If you are interested in this event, please register by email se@ylb.ch or by phone on 024 423 65 55 by Monday 24 April 2017. Don't wait, the number of places is limited to 30 people.
