Capable de prendre de la hauteur de vue et de synthétiser le fonctionnement de systèmes complexes, vous possédez une excellente capacité d’analyse qui vous permet de comprendre les enjeux stratégiques du secteur de l’énergie, notamment en matière d’achat et de production d’énergies renouvelables ainsi que de digitalisation. Doté·e d’un bon sens politique, vous cernez intuitivement les enjeux de chaque décision et le sens diplomatique fait partie de vos atouts notoires. Serein·ne, vous savez appréhender des négociations complexes avec finesse et détermination.

Your tasks: reporting to the Municipal Director in charge of the energy department, you will be in charge of the strategic, operational and financial management of the department, which consists of approximately 80 employees. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy and ensuring that the City's political and thematic values are respected. You will be responsible for the management and coordination of the subsidiary companies and for ensuring the value of the assets and their optimisation. You build strategic alliances with external partners in order to preserve the City's energy autonomy and its response to market needs. You will ensure that the population and customers are guaranteed a sustainable supply of energy, in complete security and at the best price, in a competitive environment. You will also contribute to the development of renewable energies and the diversification of supply sources. To do this, your main mission is to promote, coordinate and manage all the activities of your entity. To this end, you will identify the areas of development and, through your team of department managers, you will ensure that the strategic objectives are achieved, making Yverdon Energies a reliable partner offering forward-looking services. Finally, you will promote synergies and collaboration with other departments, in particular with the buildings, urban planning and mobility departments. In other words, the Municipality expects you to provide efficient management and innovative impulses in the management of the service, enabling it to develop a range of sustainable and competitive services in the Yverdon region.
