Energie Naturelle Mollendruz SA (ENM SA) receives the approval of the Canton to submit its "Parc Eolien du Mollendruz" project to the public enquiry.
The Board of Directors of ENM SA decided in its deliberations of 26 June 2015 to recommend to the territorial municipalities, partners in the project, the investigation of its wind farm project initiated in 2009. The feasibility of the project is to be verified after receiving the approval of the Vaud cantonal authorities responsible for spatial planning and environmental protection. In accordance with the legal provisions, the Municipalities of Juriens, La Praz and Mont-la-Ville will submit the Partial Plan for Intercommunal Allocation "Parc Eolien du Mollendruz" and the related land clearing application to the public enquiry from 4 July to 3 August 2015. During the same period, they will put the explanatory report in accordance with article 47 OAT and the environmental impact report out for consultation.
The files will be deposited at the municipal clerks' offices of the aforementioned municipalities, where they will be available for consultation until 3 August inclusive. Any observations or objections may be recorded directly on the investigation sheet or sent by registered mail to the Municipalities within the investigation period.
A public information session in the presence of a delegation from the Municipalities of Juriens, La Praz, Mont-la-Ville, Vaulion, Yverdon-les-Bains and Zurich will be held on Wednesday 15 July 2015 from 7.30 pm to 9 pm at the Grande Salle de Juriens.
ENM SA continues the progress of its wind power project and warmly thanks the populations of the foot of the Jura, the cities of Yverdon-les-Bains and Zurich who, through the vote of their elected representatives, allow the continuation of a local renewable energy production project.
Founded in 2009 by the municipalities of Juriens, La Praz, Mont-la-Ville, Vaulion, Yverdon-les-Bains and Zurich (represented by its electricity department, ewz), Energie Naturelle Mollendruz SA has its registered office in La Praz (VD). The project is intended to cover half the annual electricity needs of a town like Yverdon-les-Bains.
